I am lucky enough to have a job (dive instructor) where I get a long holiday during the cold UK winter. For the last several years I’ve gone on a jolly to warmer parts in search of sun and adventure! In the past I’ve been to Malaysia, Philippines, Japan ( snow ) and New Zealand. This year its Australia!
The plan is to start in Sydney, hire a van, head up north to South West Rocks, then go South to Narooma, then the Alps, over to Melbourne, ferry to Tasmania, then back over and up to Sydney in 6 weeks.
I’ll be diving, running, bushwalking, biking, and anything else that looks like fun!
I will try to post as much as possible, even if its just for myself to look back on haha (and he 2 people who will actually read this)!
It promises to be full of fun and games, the first one having happened already at Heathrow. I’m sitting there at a cafe nice and early for the flight out via china, when I have one of those OH Shit moments when I realised I never applied for an evisa! Knew there was something I had to do! So I had to quickly had to apply for one with 2hrs to spare, it has assumably worked as they let me check in… We shall find out tomorrow…
I’m sure there will be some fun involving the record fires and the like, plans may change but thats all part of it.
Well here I go for two back to back 11hr flights, and tine traveling into the future.
